Manhattan’s Men of Style
A photo and video journal from Manhattan magazine’s October 15 Men of Style evening.
An opening-night photo and video album: Lauryn Hill, live music and a first look inside the new Meatpacking District supper club.
Lauryn Hill performed at Lady Delilah’s New York opening celebration on October 28, with the evening continuing past midnight. The Circuit Report’s photographs and short films follow the gathering from guest portraits and the early live music to Hill at the microphone.
The room glows gold. Curved ceiling details, globe lights and the sculpted backdrop behind the musicians give the performance area its shape; elsewhere, flowers frame an entrance portrait and the Lady Delilah name appears in an illuminated ice display. The album moves between those details and the people gathered around the stage.
Lady Delilah, from The h.wood Group, is at 353 West 14th Street. Its official website announces the public restaurant opening for Tuesday, November 3, 2026, with Tuesday–Sunday service from 5 p.m. until late. That public opening follows the October 28 celebration documented here.
The early footage shows a singer and musicians in front of the curved stage backdrop. Later, Hill performs in a wide-brimmed hat and patterned coat, with the audience close to the microphone. Two short selections preserve different views of her set. The surrounding photographs and films keep the rest of the night in view: portraits, the band’s drum kit, the bar and the crowd.
