Feast of Friends at The Cutting Room

XEmail

October 14, 2026  ·  The Cutting Room · 44 East 32nd Street

Feast of Friends brought the music of The Doors and Depeche Mode to an October 14 program led by Bradford Rand. Photographs from the stage, the room and the gathering beneath the balcony.

The name was already on the glass: THE CUTTING ROOM, with street lights reflected across the lettering and the room visible beyond it. Inside, the evening changed color. Violet and blue light filled the stage, a microphone stood at the front, and Feast of Friends appeared on the screen behind the band.

The October 14 concert brought music by The Doors and Depeche Mode into the same program at the East 32nd Street venue. RAND Luxury billed the evening as “The Double D,” with Bradford Rand on lead vocals. Its published lineup also named drummer Ty Dennis, guitarist Forrest Penner, keyboardist Jeffrey Andrew and bassist, keyboardist and vocalist Bryan Percivall.

The stage and the room

The stage photographs keep the musicians and the space around them together. A singer stands close to the microphone, a guitarist occupies the brighter edge of the frame, and the audience remains visible in the foreground. The room’s scale is part of the picture: the band is elevated, but it is still close to the people watching.

Later photographs turn toward those people. Small groups pose on the floor beneath the balcony, with a chandelier, dark woodwork and other concertgoers behind them. Camera flash brings jackets, patterned trousers and faces forward while the stage lighting recedes into the background. The pictures move between performance and company, two parts of the same night.

An October evening kept in the record

The original announcement is retained alongside this photographic report. The organizer listed the concert as sold out; the photographs now add a view of the evening itself. They follow a simple sequence: the entrance before the performance, the band under the lights and the people gathered inside.
