The table before the party: how to book Miami’s sought-after restaurants
Carbone, COTE, Mandolin and Casa Tua: four different evenings, official reservation links and a practical plan for dining around Miami’s event calendar.

The table can shape the evening as much as the invitation. During a trip built around fairs, music or a gala, dinner needs to fit the occasion and the route. A beautiful reservation becomes less appealing when it leaves you racing across town before an event you came to see.
Our starting point is four Miami restaurants with distinct reasons to consider them. This is a researched planning guide, not a ranking based on recent meals. We have checked the restaurants’ own descriptions and booking links; we have not checked live table inventory for your travel dates.
Carbone: make dinner the occasion
Carbone Miami at 49 Collins Avenue pairs Italian-American cooking with Ken Fulk’s richly colored interiors and a tropical patio. Its own presentation makes the dining room part of the attraction. Our planning choice: consider it when dinner is a major stop in the evening, rather than a hurried interval between two invitations.
Use the restaurant’s official Resy link. Carbone specifically directs guests to its website, authorized platforms or restaurant team for reservations. Its dress policy excludes shorts, open-toed shoes and tank tops; check the current terms before arriving. We have not independently verified an exact daily table-release time, so we are not presenting one as a booking rule.
COTE: a mainland dinner with a clear group policy
COTE Miami brings a Korean steakhouse format to the Design District at 3900 NE Second Avenue. Lunch and dinner are offered, giving visitors more than one way to fit it into a day of galleries or shopping.
The official site links to COTE’s Resy page for standard parties of two to six. Larger groups go through its events department. The restaurant says walk-ins depend on last-minute cancellations; do not build a time-sensitive evening around that possibility. Its published cancellation policy asks for 24 hours’ notice and specifies a $50-per-person late-cancellation or no-show fee. Confirm the terms shown for your actual booking.
Mandolin: plan a different pace
Mandolin Aegean Bistro at 4312 NE Second Avenue describes a menu rooted in the coastal food traditions of Greece and Turkey. Our editorial reason to consider it is the chance to give an event trip a different dining rhythm, rather than turn every meal into another late-night engagement.
Start at the official reservations page or its linked Resy listing. For parties of nine or more, the restaurant directs guests to an events inquiry. A large group should use that route rather than assume several smaller reservations can be joined on arrival.
Casa Tua: restaurant access and club access are separate
Casa Tua Miami combines an Italian restaurant, boutique hotel and members club within a South Beach villa. The operator describes garden dining and an interior library setting. Choose the restaurant for the dining occasion; membership is a separate proposition.
The official Miami page says dinner reservations are released daily 21 days in advance through SevenRooms. Use its Make Reservation or Reserve control to reach the current booking page. A restaurant reservation does not provide admission to the private club upstairs. Confirm seating requests with the team rather than treating a garden photograph as a guaranteed table assignment.
Build the evening backward
Begin with the event you must reach, its actual admission window and the venue. Then choose dinner on the same side of the city where practical. Leave time to pay, collect coats and travel; a posted party start time may differ from its last-entry policy.
Have your date, party size and preferred time ready before opening the booking page. Consider an earlier meal or lunch if the prime dinner slot is unavailable. Use a platform’s cancellation notification when offered, but keep a confirmed alternative. Avoid overlapping reservations you do not intend to honor.
Before confirming, read the deposit, cancellation deadline, service charge and seating terms for that exact reservation. Save the confirmation and make one person responsible for the group’s arrival. If the itinerary changes, release the table promptly through the restaurant’s approved route.
Pair the meal with the circuit
Browse our Miami calendar, Art Week guides and Miami travel desk before choosing the restaurant. The useful question is which table makes your particular evening work.
We do not sell reservation access or claim a restaurant partnership. Booking links take you directly to the restaurant or its authorized provider; availability and acceptance remain with them.
