Miami Art Week 2026: Fairs, Museums, Public Art and the Night Circuit
A wider Miami Art Week plan: major and independent fairs, museum exhibitions, hotel installations, talks and nightlife, with public access separated from previews.

Miami Art Week rewards a little structure. A fair ticket, a collector preview and an evening invitation do different jobs, and a date range on a poster does not necessarily mean every day is open to the public. Build a small fair itinerary first; leave space around it for dinners, openings and the invitations that arrive later.
Three major fairs already give the 2026 week its shape. The dates below describe public access, with private previews separated out. Each organizer’s current ticket page remains the authority on entry conditions and availability.
Art Basel Miami Beach: December 4–6
Art Basel Miami Beach lists its 2026 public fair dates as December 4–6. The fair anchors the Miami Beach Convention Center part of the week. A public ticket should not be treated as a pass to invitation-only previews or unrelated brand parties.
Begin with the galleries and work you want to see, then give that visit a real place in the itinerary. Our Art Basel Miami Beach guide connects the fair to our calendar and continuing coverage.
Untitled Art: December 2–6 on the beach
Untitled Art’s visitor information places the fair at Ocean Drive and 12th Street in Miami Beach. Its VIP and press preview is December 1. Public days follow December 2–6: 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday.
That beachfront setting is a different stop from the Convention Center. Give it its own arrival plan rather than assuming every fair occupies the same site. The official visitor page carries the public ticket route; preview credentials are separate. Our Untitled Miami guide preserves the edition and its official artwork.
Design Miami: public access starts December 2
Design Miami’s 2026 fair page covers an overall December 1–6 edition at Convention Center Drive and 19th Street. December 1 is for invited members and collectors. December 2 begins with a VIP preview, followed by public hours from 1 to 7 p.m.
Public hours continue 11 a.m.–7 p.m. December 3–5 and 11 a.m.–6 p.m. December 6. The distinction explains why a calendar can correctly show a December 1 opening while a public visitor should plan for December 2 onward. See our Design Miami guide for the edition’s access notes.
Organize the week around real appointments
Group the Convention Center-area fairs when their opening hours and your tickets allow. Treat the Ocean Drive visit as a separate stop. Leave a margin between timed commitments instead of relying on a fixed cross-town journey time during a busy week.
Keep fair confirmations, restaurant reservations and private invitations separate. A party invitation does not establish fair access, and a fair ticket does not establish party admission. Confirm the named guest, location, date and access conditions for each independently.
Use our calendar to select the dates you will be in town, and read our Miami restaurant reservation guide before fixing dinner around an evening event. For the publication’s argument about the wider visitor experience, our Art Week access editorial is a separate piece of commentary. This guide is the practical starting point: know which doors your ticket opens, then build the rest of the week around them.
The mainland fairs: Art Miami, CONTEXT and NADA
Art Miami and CONTEXT share One Herald Plaza on the downtown waterfront, December 1–6. On December 1, public hours start at 4 p.m., after the credentialed previews. Art Miami lists an 8 p.m. finish that day and CONTEXT 9:30 p.m.; use the visitor page for the remaining daily hours. Do not rely on an older directory’s preview wording.
NADA Miami runs December 1–5 at Ice Palace Studios, 1400 North Miami Avenue. Its invitation-only preview occupies December 1 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.; the public can enter from 4–7 p.m. That makes Tuesday afternoon a possible mainland fair day before Art Basel’s public opening.
More ways to look: hotel fairs, prints and Latin American art
Aqua Art Miami uses the Aqua Hotel at 1530 Collins Avenue. December 2 is its VIP preview, with public days December 3–6. The organizer also announces Shepard Fairey’s façade mural and a VIP-preview DJ set. The performance belongs to that preview, not to every public ticket.
INK Miami specializes in prints and works on paper at the Suites of Dorchester, 1850 Collins Avenue, December 2–6. Admission is free with online registration. Its published schedule includes an opening brunch December 2, 9 a.m.–noon, and the Pulp Party December 3, 7–9 p.m. It is a useful smaller-scale alternative to another long fair aisle.
Pinta Miami focuses on Latin American art at The Hangar, 3385 Pan American Drive in Coconut Grove, December 3–6. Plan it as a Coconut Grove destination, rather than an incidental stop between Miami Beach appointments.
SCOPE confirms December 1–6. Its detailed public-access timetable needs a fresh check before choosing an arrival slot. Fridge Art Fair also announces December 1–6 across Miami Beach venues under the theme Gianni • Madonna • Coconuts; check its location-specific public hours rather than assume one ticket and one room.
Red Dot Miami and Spectrum Miami run December 2–6 at Mana Wynwood. Both separate a December 2 VIP/press hour, 5–6 p.m., from the opening-night preview, 6–9 p.m. Regular show hours begin December 3.
PRIZM’s own program places its 2026 edition at Park Central Hotel, 640 Ocean Drive. The December 1 patrons/press preview is distinct from general admission beginning December 2. Its page has inconsistent end-time and repeated day labels, so confirm the chosen day’s timetable directly before committing to a panel or evening celebration.
Museums worth giving an afternoon
ICA Miami lists Sheroanawe Hakihiiwe from November 19, 2026–March 28, 2027, plus Carroll Dunham and Diego Singh exhibitions opening December 1. The Hakihiiwe presentation brings together more than 100 works and new commissions in partnership with Fondation Cartier. Put it on a Design District day rather than rush in between beach appointments.
Pérez Art Museum Miami’s Picasso–Klee–Matisse exhibition runs October 29, 2026–February 28, 2027. Around 100 works from the Museum Berggruen and associated collection make this a substantial modern-art stop, rather than a single Art Week evening event. Museum admission and special receptions are separate questions.
The Bass extends daily hours to 10 a.m.–5 p.m. November 29–December 6, with Yuko Mohri, Sarah Zapata and Amalia Pica among the announced exhibitions. Its December 2 Pedro y Juana dialogue opens doors at 10 a.m., with a 10:30 a.m. talk and complimentary admission by RSVP, subject to capacity. That evening’s 6–10 p.m. opening reception is invitation-only. A daytime museum visit or talk RSVP does not provide evening admission.
Art outside the fair booth
Art Basel’s 2026 announcement names a new outdoor James Turrell presentation with free public access, and Public Art Fund’s Between Tides artist-designed ping-pong tables in Collins Park. Specific installation visiting details should be checked when planning the route. Inside the fair, Zero 10: Generation offers a distinct focus on art of the digital era.
No Vacancy brings installations to 12 Miami Beach hotels November 12–December 19. Faena Art separately lists November 30–December 6 projects by Christopher Joshua Benton, Marinella Senatore and Kevin Arrow; read our Faena preview for what is announced and which access details remain pending.
The Miami Art Week organization’s own program includes arteNXT and photoMIAMI at 2300 North Miami Avenue, December 1–6, with published public hours. Its November 30 kickoff and several evening receptions are invitation-only. This is one organizer’s program within the wider citywide week.
After the galleries: separate tickets, separate rooms
Factory Basel runs December 2–6 at Factory Town, with five stages, local art installations and 18+ entry. Doors are listed at 10 p.m.; the night continues into the following morning. Choose the correct night or pass through the organizer’s ticket links and check the final lineup.
Club Space’s December calendar lists Prophecy December 1, Beltools December 2, Paradise December 3 and Music On December 4. Saturday and closing-party artist details remain pending on the pages checked. Club Space is 21+ and links its authorized DICE ticketing. The December 2 PRISMA Showcase at Floyd explicitly excludes access to the Space Terrace: rooms within the same address can require different tickets.
Private brand dinners, beach parties and members-club evenings will add to the circuit, but a previous-year guest list or flyer is not a current invitation. Our 2025 Faena retrospective stays clearly historical. For this year, make one daytime anchor and one evening commitment, then leave enough space to enjoy both.
