What is announced
November 16, 2026 · The Elms, Newport.
Admission and the advertised program
Opening-day milestone for The Elms Experience; dedicated timed admission required. Later operating dates are available from Newport Mansions. This record does not imply a one-day-only exhibition.
A new way into the historic house
The Preservation Society of Newport County presents the experience as a transformation of The Elms for visitors to explore through multiple senses. The permanent institution remains the source for later operating dates.
The institution behind it
The Preservation Society is the nonprofit organization behind Newport Mansions. Readers can explore its preservation work and support options alongside the new attraction; the opening announcement does not describe a gala or a separate donation included in admission.
Timed admission
The official Elms page provides the dedicated ticket route. Select the correct date and entry time for The Elms Experience. Do not substitute a ticket for a different mansion or seasonal program.
Keeping the date clear
November 16 is the confirmed opening milestone. No final closing date has been announced for the experience, so later visits should be checked against the organizer’s current calendar rather than an invented exhibition end date.
