GallopNYC Annual Gala 2026

What the charity supports

GallopNYC uses work with horses to help New Yorkers of different abilities develop strength, confidence, emotional well-being and independence. The cause is access to equine-assisted services, with the relationship between rider, instructor and horse at its center. Explore the organization’s work.

Where support goes

Support helps sustain the services and the infrastructure they require: trained people, appropriate horses and places where sessions can happen. The organization publishes financials and reports so supporters can look at its wider work. The gala invitation supports GallopNYC rather than identifying a single restricted research or construction project. Read its financial and impact reporting.

The people behind the work

The 2026 gala honors Rene Theriault, managing director and head of securities investing within KKR’s Real Estate Credit platform, for his support of the mission. Its committee includes Constance Hunter, Jennifer Maulsby and Lauren Reischer. Instructors, volunteers and riders bring the charitable purpose to life throughout the year. Meet the organization.
