Angel Ball 2026: Denise Rich, performers and official tickets

XEmail

The Angel Ball supports scientists working on better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma and related blood cancers.

What the charity supports

The Angel Ball supports scientists working on better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma and related blood cancers. The foundation backs research intended to improve patients’ lives, including approaches that could be less toxic than existing treatment. Its importance lies in giving promising ideas the resources to develop. Explore the organization’s work.

Where support goes

The foundation’s Medical Research Awards help early-career investigators build their work over several years. Its 2026 research announcement describes seven new awards totaling $1,575,000; this is an announced grant commitment, rather than the amount raised at this year’s ball. Grants are selected with scientific review.

The people behind the work

Denise Rich founded the organization in memory of her daughter Gabrielle. Executive Director Jennifer Ranieri leads its operations, and Dr. Stephen D. Nimer chairs the Medical Advisory Board. Their different roles connect fundraising with the assessment of research. Meet the organization.

Inside the evening’s program

The October 19 evening runs from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. at Cipriani Wall Street. Cocktails are scheduled for 6:30–7:15 p.m., followed by dinner, the live auction and entertainment from 7:30 p.m. Dress is black tie.

Deborah Cox hosts, with Shaggy and Taylor Dayne announced to perform and DJ Kiss and DJ M.O.S. providing music. Star Jones, Seth Herzog and Dr. Stephen D. Nimer are also named for presentations in the printed program. Lynda Carter, Nicola Verses and Dionne Warwick are the honorees. Open the official program and auction catalog.

Two online auctions, with bidding beyond gala night

The fundraising extends beyond the ballroom. The foundation has announced both its Charitybuzz experience auction and its OneCause art auction through October 22, three days after the ball. The catalogs provide separate ways to support the research without buying a gala seat. Check each lot’s live closing time, terms and eligibility before bidding.

On Charitybuzz, highlights include a two-night Colony Palm Beach villa or bungalow stay for four and dinner for 30 at Cipriani Wall Street Club 55. The broader selection includes fashion, travel and entertainment experiences.

The OneCause art auction brings together works by artists including Mr. Brainwash, James Goldcrown, Ross Pino, Bradley Theodore, Fer Da Silva, Jason Naylor and Romero Britto, alongside Markus Klinko’s Beyoncé photograph. It is a chance to discover a work for the home while contributing to the foundation’s mission. Browse the actual catalog for the available works and current bidding.

A separate Chanel Cheetah Medium Flap Bag raffle closes October 19, with the drawing at the gala. The organizer says the winner need not attend. Its entry rules and closing date are distinct from the October 22 art-auction deadline. See the official raffle and auction page.

Live-auction highlights

The evening’s live-auction offering includes a seven-day Lucia Magnani Health Clinic stay for two in Italy; a four-night Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort stay for four in Punta Mita; Lorraine Schwartz purple-sapphire and diamond earrings; six nights at Max Tucci’s Villa Tucci in Florence for six guests; a Belmond journey through Peru; and a Clinique La Prairie retreat for two in Montreux.

The latest organizer announcement also names a Mr. Brainwash work, bringing its announced live-auction lineup to seven lots. Live-auction placement and final offerings are set by the organizer; the printed catalog and subsequent announcements should be read together. Travel restrictions, dates, inclusions and redemption conditions differ by lot. Published estimated values are not winning prices. Explore the official auction booklet.

The details around the celebration

The announced sponsor experiences include Tito’s Handmade Vodka glass etching, a LALO Tequila tasting lounge, a Valmont photo booth and live fashion sketching by Deanna First. The evening also includes a Hunky Dory cocktail pop-up and a Charbonnel et Walker table gift. These are announced elements of the program; the fundraising remains in support of the foundation’s cancer-research work.

For readers unable to attend or bid, a direct contribution to Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation is another way to support the mission.
